Why Blogging Tool?

Bloggers can write articles only if they are online, But can we do it in offline? Yes we can, using desktop blogging tools.

Benefits of blogging tools are, it is much easy for us to write article in offline and publish it whenever we like to. Few tools has benefits of including picture from different websites, scheduling the post etc.

I have listed few best blogging tools here.

ScribeFire

This not a desktop blogging tool. It is a firefox addon. Yes you can use this tool in any OS which has mozilla firefox installed. Now we can use scribefire in Google Chrome and Safari as well.

Qumana

Qumana works with Windows and Mac. It is also has inbuilt Ad network (QAds). You can signup for Qads and you can insert ads in your post as well. Also you can save your posts and publish it in your blog later.

Thingamablog

Thingamablog works with Windows, Mac and Linux. It is looks like Microsoft Outlook. The only blogging tool which has inbuilt RSS reader and allows us to post articles from your RSS contents.

Ecto

Ecto works with Mac OS. One of the most popular blogging tool which is used by most of the popular bloggers and  works with most of the blogging platform.

Wbloggar

Works with Windows. Blogging tool which has lots of features. You can ping your blog post with popular sites like Technorati, ping-o-matic etc. Wbloggar has portable version as well.

BlogDesk

Works with Windows. The only blogging tool which support multi language blogs. Which supports 14 languages and inbuilt integrated spell checker. You can easily and edit insert images, audio (MP3)

Zoundry Raven

Works with Windows. It is an advanced WYSIWYG-blog editor with XHTML editing, drag and drop from browser-functionality and also supports Blogger, TypePad, MovableType, MetaWeblog and LiveJournal Blogging platform.

And Finally

Windows Live Writer

One of my favorite blogging tool. It comes with Windows Live Essentials. Which has lots of feature. Easy to include images, hyperlink, videos, spell checker etc. Easy to add plugins as you wish. If you don’t know HTML, Live Writer is the most easiest way to write blog post. Live Writer is most like a Microsoft Word. Now they have released a new Beta version.
